Dayam it's cooling off majorly here. It's snowed heavy all day and the temp is dropping. Look's like it's play time, check out these temps. Further to my other thread here

First, the AMD 2100+ @ 210 X 11, F@H running:

    What? are they sitting outside?
I have mine sitting in the basement under a window. When it gets below freezing I plan on droping a duct to each box.

Nice temps man. I'm kind of thinking of doing the same thing when it hits -40 here.

Yea, I will have my bedroom window open when the temps start dropping here, hopefully I will get some nice temps as well. Now it's time for you to crank those babies up eh?

I hear that! I can't wait till X-mas time when it's 20 degrees outside, the presents are under the tree, not a creature is stirring, and i'm on my bed overclocking my computer to kingdom come! I better buy some additional fans when the cold whether hits....

Well, Mack, I tried for the 4GHz screenie but no post, so after a CMOS reset, I'm resetting bios and make a quick stop at the HW Monitor and what do I see:wow:

No, they're not outside heh. It's prolly -10C here right now, they're stacked atop one another beside an open window, just above ground level. See the thread I linked in the first post for a pic of the setup.

The 2.6C is a *mild* disappointment, it won't boot into Windows at 3.7 at those temps, tho it posts.

Don't be a whiner. It's not really cold there until the cat turns into a statue and car exhaust comes out in chunks. ;D

Ya, it's not so cold yet where you throw yourself into your car and when ur butt hits the seat, it's like you landed on concrete. Or when you pull the door shut behind you it bounces back open cause the mechanism is frozen 'open'. It's not so cold yet where your eyes occasionally freeze shut when you blink. No, it's not so cold yet where you can spit and bounce it off a wall cause it's frozen by the time it travels 4'. But we're getting there LOL.

As an aside, I think the chipset fan on my NF7-S is giving out - and it doesn't even matter right now lol. Tho I'll have to rig something up long term.

Christ on a raft stuck on a frozen lake!

Does that AMD cpu like voltages? If so, use like 2.2 and see what it does. At those temps, that cpu will only burp for more i would say. Brrrrr....

For anyone watching the Heritage Classic hockey game tonight, THAT's where I live.

Mack, that screenie was the P4 but the AMD is at similar temps. I usually run it 1.8-1.85 but I'll feed 'er a little more and see what's what.
