For just shy of a thousand US greenbacks, Trolltech will send you their SDK and a swank looking mobile that is a playground for developers. Write the functionality of the phone from the ground up, if you wish, or start with the applications. The SDK comes with code examples, pre-compiled programs and the compiler to make your phone do the voodoo you want it to do. Pretty snazzy, really.
