Ad Aware 2007 wont let me install
So I realized I was running an out of date version of Ad Aware. So I go to the downloads section which takes me to the download.com page with Ad Aware 2007 Free.
New version! SWEET.... or not so sweet?
I download the file and first thing that pops up is AVG saying it's a Trojan and I know that this isn't true so I ignore it. Then when I try to open it, I get a message saying "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."
So I try restarting to see if that makes a difference. Ok so I delete the file and this time try to download it with IE and with AVG disabled and this time..... SAME THING.
I am the admin on this computer so I know it's not that. Any help? Please?

Did you un-install ad-aware se? Try that - run ccleaner (including issues)(if you have it) and re -download Ad-Aware 2007 ... then go from there?
Make sure you are downloading from Lavasoft Website(no insult intended !)
I ran ccleaner as well
The Lavasoft website redirects me to download.com just like IC.
I guess I'll try running ccleaner again.
..
Sorry I should have been clearer.
I just ran ccleaner, rebooted, ran again, downloaded Ad Aware 2007 and I got same results.
Edit/:Vista is not supported yet.
Now it starts the installation but it says the the admin's policy doesn't allow installing.
I tried on the admin account and no nice. I tried going into the policy manager and fixing somethings... nothing.
