With the help of the Icrontic Community i got rid of a ton of Spy/maleware of this pc. Thanks alot guys! :) But ever since then my nets been going slow.
Getting slow page loads..page times out Quote:
<table border="0" cellpadding="6" cellspacing="0" width="100%"> <tbody><tr> <td class="alt2" style="border: 1px inset ;"> And errors such as Page cannot be displayed </td> </tr> </tbody></table>
, having to refresh to pages to get them to work again.

Ive done broadband speed tests and everything seems to be fine there.

I noticed with my firewall i keep on getting the same program (Firefox mainly) ask for permission to connect to the net everynow and then, even though i allow it in trusted programs. Dont know if theres something wrong there..maybe multiple of the same program staring up or soemthing.. or if its another problem giving me slow net.

any help would be appriciated.

Thanks

    G'day -X-,

I looked at your HJT log in your other post and saw you're with iPrimus. Try looking on their site for internet settings. Sometimes these things change, and there my be a different setup you should be using.

Give that a go for starters.

Nothing Iprimus's way from the settings point. See if you guys can help before i give Iprimus a call..last time it took forever to get them to fix a problem with my net.

Lovely service iPrimus until you need service that is. I was with them for years until I found out the plan I was paying for had dropped about $40 a month. They "failed" to let me know. I failed to stay with them...

How about posting another HJT log here and see if someone can spot the problem.

    Hi -x-,

Sorry mate, lost track. I'm with Bigpond, btw.

One thing I'm wondering is the specs of your system? You may want to look at the services you have running. Also, what connection do you have with Primus? All these could have an effect on speed. I'm just wondering if you have too many things trying to talk at the same time. Try turning off a bunch of the stuff you have running in the taskbar in the lower right corner such as itunes; what ever you don't need for the moment, and then see how well you connect.
