Hai guys, it's me again :D

I've recently been told that lack of power could be what's causing low performance in games, but i don't know how to check it, edit, or even know if my power supply is at the wrong setting... A lil' help?

Didn't we establish that you had some sort of temperature problem unrelated to your hard drive? What came of that?

nothing i can do about it for now, I'm gunna buy some extra cooling soon, but i might get a new PC case with really good ventilation for my birthday so til then before I spend anything on extra cooling.

but without changing the power settings changing from a 6200SE to a 7600Gt and from 512 ram to 2GB have an effect on the PC?

Yes, but did you open the case and put a running fan blowing into the PC to see if that ameliorated the issue? One solution at a time. :)

It didn't make much of a difference, performance doesn't deterioirate once starting up the PC and playing while it's cold.
