Need a sound driver

After building my new PC I've moved my old hard drive into the new one and my parents hard drive into my old one.

I am now having a similar problem setting up my parents PC as did before,

In that there is no sound on their PC. The annoying problem is the driver I found in that thread the link doesn't work anymore (via http://www.soundcard-drivers.com/drivers/136/136560.htm).

Anybody know any other sources for this driver? (it's old... about 5 years ago)

Yeah that looks like the same driver, no idea why it's not working this time. Tried downloading some others that didn't work either and exceeded my download limit so might try again later.

Theoretically though that wdma one should work, don't think I've done anything differently this time. Uninstalled the soundblaster, uninstalled the Real Tek then re-installed it and tried to use a different driver each time but no success.

My parents normally use the PC for emails and using word so it's not massively important they have sound, would be good to fix though.

Tried again today, for some reason it seemed to work! Don't know how but happy :)
