I do not see anything malicious in your HijackThis log. Before we do anything else, have you tried another mouse? Or tested this mouse on another machine?

I have tried using other mice, but it doesn't help the problem at all. I also can't open the "my documents" folder at all and the "administrator" account seems to be missing; or at least not accessible or visible. Not sure if that helps.

Please do an online scan with Kaspersky WebScanner

Click on Kaspersky Online Scanner

You will be promted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.

Note for Internet Explorer 7 users: If at any time you have trouble with the accept button of the licence, click on the Zoom tool located at the right bottom of the IE window and set the zoom to 75 %. Once the license accepted, reset to 100%.

• The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
• Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
  
• Now click on Scan Settings
• In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
  • Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
  Extended (if available otherwise Standard)

• Scan Options:

Scan Archives
Scan Mail Bases

[*]Click OK
[*]Now under select a target to scan:

That computer won't run the kaspersky virus scanner. It says there is an error on the page. So I tried it with another computer and it runs fine. But I did try Trend Micro's Housecall on it last week and it picked up a few things, but then the Macaffee picks up (and elminates) five or six things every day that the computer is used.

Lets try this:

Please do an online scan with Panda ActiveScan

- Once you are on the Panda site, click the Scan your PC button
- A new window will open...click the Check Now button
- Enter your Country
- Enter your State/Province
- Enter your e-mail address and click send
- Select either Home User or Company
- Click the big Scan Now button
- If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it
- It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)
- When download is complete, click on Local Disks to start the scan
- When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to a convenient location.

Post the contents of the Panda scan report, along with a new HijackThis Log

It also comes up with "error on page" as soon as I click on the "try scan".
I tried it fine on the other computer.
Could there be some sort of issue with internet explorer?
