Found new hardware sorta

I should know this, but :Pwned:

My nice new system claims to have found new hardware. I was I admit a little enthusiastic weeks ago when I set it all up.

I just found a little yellow question mark in the device manager.

Under "other device" it says, of all things, unknown device.:wtf: But of course windows can't find a driver for it, surprise surprise.:grumble: Everything works fine ,all hardware (that I can think of) is accounted for.

How in the bloody hell do I find out what it wants. :banghead:

What motherboard do you have? Processor? It might be "cool n' quiet" or something like that

Everything is in my signature. I do not have cool and quiet enabled in the bios, and I know I have not installed any drivers for it.

I have the same chipset - and whether or not cool n' quiet is enabled in the bios, you still have to install a driver for it. Give it a shot, it might solve the yellow bang.

Mine does that. I think it's to do with raid drivers. I hardly ever reboot but the new hardware come up when I do. I just click the cancel button till it goes away.
