Ars beat us to it, but Nintendo today announced that the new Wii Zapper accessory will come bundled with Link's Crossbow Training for $19.99.
The release date for this bundle of joy is November 19th, 2007 - one year to the day that the Wii was unleashed upon us.
It's been quite a year, too. In one short year, Nintendo has gone from an almost has-been to a powerhouse in the gaming industry, with the #1 best selling console in the current generation, and the mega best-seller DS handheld. You have to give credit where credit is due, Nintendo really reinvented themselves, and got rid of the arrogance that almost caused their demise. It seems they've finally made amends for spurning optical media in 1995, standing Sony up for a hot date, and pitting the fairly weak Gamecube up against the PS2 and Xbox.
Things were getting a little shaky early this year, with release after release of minigame mashups and weak titles, but the success of Metroid Prime 3 and the anticipation of other AAA first party titles such as Super Mario Galaxy ensure that this generation of Nintendo products is in pretty darned good shape.
