This is something that worried me a lot, and I am really happy to discover that if you buy the Orange Box edition (a bundle which includes Half Life 2, and Half Life 2: Episode One), and you already own Half Life 2 and Episode One, you can "re-gift" your license of the old games to someone else.

I was a little upset with the thought that I had to purchase games I already bought, but Valve comes through with the logical and "right way" to do things.

<blockquote>"The Orange Box also includes Half-Life 2, the best-selling and highest-rated action game series of all time, and the episodic debut Half-Life 2: Episode One. Customers who already own these titles will have the ability to conveniently "gift" them to a friend upon official release of The Orange Box."</blockquote>

Maybe now I WILL get the Peggle Package.

OMG... So I have to buy another copy of HL2!! NO WAY! I'll wait it out. The only game I'm interested in is TF2.
Everyone knows that if you wait, you can get the "Good Deal". Just ask any Iphone user.

You don't have to buy the orange box - you can just buy TF2 when it comes out - unless you want HL2:ep2. You can buy them a la carte.

    Welcome to icrontic :)

Considering that TF2 by itself is $30, and if you preorder Orange Box it's 10% off... I'm just fine with paying $15 more to get another copy of HL2 along with Episodes 1 and 2, and Portal to boot...
