HELP!!! - Need mounting hardware for Alpha PAL8045
I lost my links and need to get the mounting standoffs/ studs for my Alpha 8045. Also, I remember that there were some very heavy duty ones for Swiftech's. As I recall they will work for the 8045. Out of curosity, does anyone think I could make a SLK-xxxU series mount work?

Qty 4, 6\32 machine screws, length to suit.
Qty 4, backmount inside prethreaded machine screw female threaded studs with flat bottoms.
Qty 1, can of liquid electrical tape, AND about an inch and a half of 5\16 OD before shrink Heat shrink tube.
Qty 4-8 (either four or eight, depunding on how thick your motherboard is versus how long\tall the mounts studs are when lpaced flat side down-- you do not want the wood mount ones with small tack like protrusions, either remove or FLATTEN if you have to get that kind, and a Marine supply will have if local hardware does not have)
nylon washers, 1\4 ID will do.
assembly:
Step one, stand studs bottom up, or grab with a forceps and hold bottom (flat) up and paint very well with liquid electrical tape. Let dry for about 2 hours maximum, depends on humidity and temp, need good air circulation for this.
Step two, when BONE dry heatshrink tube onto now right side up studs (flat electrical tape paint down) and trim carefully so hole for screw will not get shrunk closed at top, or carefully remove (Exacto knife, razor blade, CAREFULLY). OH, if you do not have a good source fro small amounts of heat sshrink tube, you can use three coats of Liquid Electrical tape or cut the end of a protruding bolt vinyl cap and use that if you use a number 10 machine screw protector (looks like a, um, "propylactic protector" but shorter and smaller OD and ID and thicker walled). And cut the end off and any extra once on the stud (this applies only to HARDWARE-- ).
Now, slide one nylon washer down onto your stud, trial fit for length sticking up through on mobo top side. You need at least one, probably will need two.
Why hunt for stuff you can make???
