With apologies to the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band...

I knew a man Bojingles and he'd Fold for you
In worn out shoes
With silver hair, a ragged shirt, and an AMD
The old soft shoe
He Folded so high, Folded so high
That he won the Half-Cog

I met him at a site on the Internet I was
down and out
He looked to me to be the eyes of age
as he spoke right out
He talked of life, talked of life, he laughed
clicked his heels and stepped

He said his name "Bojingles" and he danced a lick
across the cell
He grabbed his pants and spread his stance,
Oh he jumped so high and then he clicked his heels
He let go a laugh, let go a laugh
and shook back his clothes all around

Mr. Bojingles, Mr. Bojingles
Mr. Bojingles, Fold

He'd Fold for those at minstrel shows and county fairs
throughout the south
He spoke through tears of 15 years how his dog and him
traveled about
The dog up and died, he up and died
And after 20 years he still grieves

He said I Fold now at every chance in honky tonks
for Team 93
But most the time I spend behind these county bars
'cause I drinks a bit
He shook his head, and as he shook his head
I heard someone ask him please

Mr. Bojingles, Mr. Bojingles
Mr. Bojingles, Fold...

-P4 2.0 Not mine. Only folds part time :(

Have you ever heard the original song? If you're not an old-timer (like me  ) you probably haven't. The modified lyrics scan pretty well. (Maybe we can get Spinner to whip up a version for us.) With a name like "mr_bojingles3264" I figured you must have been inspired.

As far as the AMD part, I already knew that you were a smart guy; it just made sense. :respect:

    Keep those rigs Folding!

    :thumbsup::fold:

I think that bob dylan and john denver both have a song "mr. bojangles", but didn't know of that song you have...lol, I'm not an old timer like you :P

Actually I was at a lan party a couple years ago and was thinking of a odd name to go by...and mr bojingles was the first thing to come to mind. It has kind of stuck with me since. :D

The big radio hit (Top 10) was by a group called the "Nitty Gritty Dirt Band". They were a 70's blend of Pop, Country, and a little Swing/Rock. I'm not much of a fan of Country, but they are cool in my book.

As far as nicknames go, I once made an offhand reference to John Wayne, and now have an entire group of friends who call me "Duke".
