The 3,000 point milestone is the second milestone a new member receives and it sucks...

OK, I've been doing the milestones for a few months and I see several glaring spots in the milestone artwork gallery. The biggest flop... 3,000 point milestone. What is it???

Really eye catching, huh? OK, graphic artists and would-be artists. Design an award that fits in with our other milestones. Remember, it needs to be simple enough to not lose detail. It needs to be about 400px x 400px. Our 1,000 point milestone and 5,000 BWA milestone are really nice and the 3,000 should be about the same amount of "flash".

You up for it? PM me your artwork embedded and the Team Committee will pick the best four submissions. Then we'll have a team poll to pick the best 3,000 point milestone.

PRIZES:
  • The top four will automatically get a nice "Join Folding" t-shirt.
  • Grand winner will get a Visa gift card for $25

    When we get at least three designs worth reviewing... so far I have received..... none. :(

    I can only think of one entirely tasteless way to go with this. It involves bed sheets and baseball scoring.

    Tried getting something based on the 300 movie poster, obviously with an added 0. I suck at GFX design/photoshop quite good at ideas though.:mad::p

    Hey Q, I have two versions, same thing different background. It's a glucose molecule btw. When is this contest over BTW, I might do this same thing with Cinema 4D so it actually looks 3D.

    Anybody else? All we need is a good representation of the award, if you are not a great artist. I'm gonna close the contest on Sunday Night (11:59 PM Central Time). Remember, top 4 get t-shirts and the winner gets some $$$ (gift card really).

    Also... if the idea is good enough, we may use it as another milestone so don't feel like your work will go to waste. ;)
