Raid Question

Hi, I have a simple question (I hope ) that I have not been able to answer in doing some raid research, and I was hoping someone here could enlighten me :). The Question is, can I run a Hardrive independantly from a raid array?
I am currently buying parts to build my own computer, and if I had my wish I would be able to buy 2 small fast drives and run them in raid 0, having only OS and a few games on them, then have a larger slower (and cheaper) HD for media, photos,ect... NOT in the array...is this possible?

    Yes it is, that's precisely what I have atm 2 x 75Gb Raptors in a RAID 0 and a Samsung 250Gb for storage.

    Thanks Floppy!......I figured you could but wanted to here it from some one, before I buy anything. Because of money I will probably get 2, 34gig 10k rpm raptors for my raid, and get the biggest HD I can for around 200$ for everything else......400$ for storage..:eek:
