Serious PROBLEM - Please help
My computer is less then a year old I got it for christmas, there was a trojan on my computer and after deleting it I turned my computer off and went to bed. The next day when I tried to turn it on and it just frezzes on the boot screen. I tried to enter safe mode and it frezzes on loading the drivers. I contacted a computer repair guy and he said it was a virus and that it would cost $229 to backup my files so I can do a reformat, however I dont have that kind of money. A friend told me to look around on my other computer for a booy up virus scan. I have tried to look for one but cant find one. Is there anyone who know where I can find one or know where I can get help with this. There is so much important data on this comp and too many things are going on right now for me to get it fix. I posted a hijackthis log in another thread yesterday. Though I didn't get help I found some old threads that helped me. So if anyone can help please let me know!
