Don't get me wrong, I like the 1950pro. But I don't need it and it is a bit louder than my wife likes.
So, do you have a QUIET X1xxx card that you would like to swap for it?
I could by a silent X1650pro and sell this one, but then I would have to explaine buying another card to my wife.
PCIe, 512MB, Diamond card

I am open to options.
tks

If you decide to sell it outright, please LMK. I don't have anything to trade unless you want an older (slower) x550

Well it's silent during game play and on idle. and crossfire compatible.

Brian, I don't know. I didn't think that the newer cards used the master system, aren't they all the same?

No, crossfire requires a "master" and then "any other card" :-/

Um, wrong there, Brian. The X1950 Pros use internal crossfire connectors that look like a SLI connector. I have an X1950 Pro myself (which I need to RMA due to a noisy fan on it  ).

Hmm. Am I thinking back to the x800 era? :wtf:

You don't even have to go that far back. The X1900 series used the external crossover cables, as well as the X1600 series. It wasn't until the X1950's and the X1650's that the cards were made internally connectable.

I have a 6600 with passive cooling lol. It overclocks well, theres a review on this card floating around somewhere here.

If you decide to straight up sell it, I've been looking for a new card for a while.
