Gmail storage will exceed 4 GB after Oct 23, and will jump to over 6 GB on Jan 4, 2008. After that, storage will be increased by 3.3 MB/day, which is over ten times the current rate. The oneupmanship between Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft continues.

Where's my terabyte?

Labels do not remove mail from the inbox. I like to file away messages and never see them until I need them. Labels are fine for recovery and the search function is fine when you know what to look for. I like an empty inbox.

They're kinda at the functional limit for e-mail attachments... any bigger and you should use FTP anyway.

FTP is good on my end....but I have many friends that have no clue WTF FTP is...and sometimes I like to send them little videos/slideshows without having to chop or burn it to disc
