What is .dmg?

I am looking at some files and I am trting to figure out what .dmg is and what it is used for. Anybody?:confused:

    I was playing a shooter the other day and when my guy took .dmg, it .hrt - he took too much going after the .flg then he .dyd. He got revenge tho, killing the .bst who shot him, returning the .flg and proceeded to .spm the chat with .pwn.
