Right, the moment has come! I'm finally going to upgrade my motherboard and CPU! :D I just want some last minute checks for reassurance.

Is changing a motherboard just a matter of unplugging and removing the old, plugging the new one in, connecting all the components, booting it, then inserting any install disks it requires? Or is there more?
Here are the upgrades I'm getting since I have a feeling it'll help you help me :P

Any compatability problems/issues that you can see would be greatly appreciated if you could point them out :P

I'm currently using a GA-8S649MF motherboard and a 3.06GHz Celeron D Processor.

Thanks again :D

I've partitioned my HDD, do I need to wipe all of them, or just C:\?
