Disable Touchpad

Ho Folks,
Can anybody tell me how to disable the Touchpad on my Laptop. It's a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo and I am using Windows XP. There is no Hot key, or the manual dosen't give any info either. In the control panel under mouse section I have managed to disable the external mouse no problem but the disable box for the touchpad is grey in colour and not active.
Any help would be great.
Stephen

Unless it's in your BIOS or one of your Fn keys, you can't without a third party application.

    For that, look here:

You could also try a mouse manager program like this one:

Use caution however, I haven't tried this particular program before (as I've never had need), I've only seen stories of it working for others, so YMMV.
