LCDs and millisecond differences?
I'm going to be ordering my new lcd monitor next week to replace my old and massive desk hog crt.
so i had some questions
a lot of people (read on various forums) say that for gamers you need a 2ms response time.
the ones i've narrowed it down to either have 2 or 5 ms ratings.
my question as a person who has never owned an lcd before is basically does it really make that much of a difference?
also are there any other factors i should be paying attention to?

the one I have is on the Samung home page for TV monitors but I cant find the spec

Saves me a lot of room.
The quicker the better obviously but, mine has a claimed 8ms response and looks fine to me.
i have 4 monitors that ive been looking at
the LG L206WTY-BF
http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16824005096
has caught my eye for a while, it is the cheapest of the choices but still seems to be a good base line to start from
the SCEPTRE X22WG-1080p
http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16824112009
it is larger than the LG plus it supports 1080p
and the BenQ FP222WH

only reason im considering this one is that the reviews have been decent and that it comes with an hdmi input
but then again i could always get an hdmi to dvi cable for the others
and finally the Hanns·G HW-223DPB

I looked at a bunch of widescreen LCDs before buying this 4:3 ratio monitor. I just didn't like the way the widescreen units displayed many different web pages.
