a.exe DOS Boxes

I am getting multiple DOS boxes opening when I reboot. They are labeled a.exe, b.exe., c.exe, etc. When I delete them then the boxes appear on my C: drive labeled d.exe, e.exe, etc. After I can finally delete all of them my computer runs slow. My IE won't hardly work, and when I click on the IE Icon an IE shortcut appears next to it?

Also, when doing searches and/or going from one page to another on any site I have random windows that open advertising travel, medicine, any number of things.

I've scanned with AVAST 2 times, nothing found. I've ran NoAdware and it finds things but every time I run it they are all back. I ran spybots and it found Media Click or something only. Also now when I go to the NoAdware site using IE, the window closes as soon as it's loaded.

My computer is rapidly becoming unusable.

Does anyone have any idea what this is and where I may have gotten it?

I'm very meticulous normally. When I download anything I scan it before opening, programs, photos, and I never open attachments from anyone without scanning, and I only open attachments from trusted friends.

I appreciate help if someone can provide it!

Thanks.

Hi roadapple! Sorry for the delay.

    Download HJTInstall.exe to your Desktop.
    • Doubleclick HJTInstall.exe to install it.
    • By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis .
    • Click on Install.
    • It will create a HijackThis icon on the desktop.
    • Once installed, it will launch Hijackthis.
    • Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad.
    • Save the log to a convenient location as you'll need to post it soon.
    • Don't use the Analyse This button, its findings are dangerous if misinterpreted.
    • Don't have Hijackthis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.
