SiL 3112a card = dead bios - help

i was in the middle of flashing the bios and all of a sudden the lights went out... poof.. my card went dead and my computer wont boot.. even the bios info that shows on power up is gone..so i'm guessing my cards bios was wiped out and never got written back... :mad: .. i tried moving the HDD to another comp maybe thats the problem.. but the HDD was fine ... even the other system wont recognize my SATA card

    were you flashing your MB Bios or the bios on the SATA card?

    i was flashing my SATA bios...anyways i got it working now...but whenever i install windows xp pro it keeps giving me the 0x0000007b error...but with windows xp home..it doesnt give any errors.. weird..i tried the driver from SiL website and also from adaptec.. but no success there..i'm stuck in home currently..i searched the forum with no luck..
