If you donated parts you think that would be tax deductable? What are you going to need for the next SMx box? I'm sick of looking at these parts and since no one will buy anything I'm ready to donate them!

In Canada, you need to be a registered charity to get a tax deduction. I'm sure there's something similar in the U.S.A., for which this is unlikely to qualify. Just a thought, not a statement of fact.

If you donate them to a qualifying charity that has a 501(c)3 certificate, then yes you can get a tax deduction. We are looking into the possibility that the SMx project could technically be considered a charitable organization but don't get your hopes up.

List all the parts that you have or are willing to donate and then we can gather a list of parts that others have, and we should be pumping out more systems.
