Hi, quick question, a sapphire radeon 9800 AIW be softmodded? Does it matter if your card is a 256Mb or 128MB graphics card? Does it matter if it is an All in wonder - would the AIW still work after softmodding?
Get the 9800se aiw. The 256 bit version. MOST of them seems to be very easy to get either soft-modded or hard-modded + a bios flash. Note that the 256 bit thing is VERY important. There are 4 versions of 9800se. 9800se 128 bit, 9800se 256 bit, 9800se AIW 128 bit and 9800se AIW 256 bit. Apparently, the 256 bit versions is just crippled 9800 pro's (4 pipelines disabled, pro have 8) and they are easily modded to Pro. I just ordered a 9800se AIW myself. Should have it early next week. Just over $200 for a possibly 9800 pro AIW isn't bad. The regular non AIW is about $170.
