Good show, Nvidia. A billion-dollar quarter is worth celebrating.

Nvidia Corp. today released their 3rd quarter fiscal results, and proudly announced a record 1.12 billion-dollar revenue intake, which is quite a bit better than last year's 3rd quarter $820.6 million.
It just goes to show that all you need to do is come up with innovative products that mesh up with what the market wants, something they seemed to have in common with Intel this year.
The enthusiast's attention span is short - it waxes and wanes and follows the price/performance leader. If it is AMD/ATI one year and then Nvidia/Intel the next, most enthusiasts won't spend their hard-earned money on gear that doesn't give them maximum performance. So we say "congrats" to Nvidia for giving us what we want.
