Old MS Office or new MS Works?

edited November 2007 in Science & Tech
I have just bought a new PC with Vista and MS Works 8 - but I also have an older CD with 'MS Office Standard Edition 2003 Student & Teacher' on it. Which one should I install?

Thanks.

I would go with Office 2003 myself... the Student/Teacher Edition is quite good.
You could go with both :)

Is there anything in Works 8 that isn't in office 2003 - or the other way round?

Unless it came with Word as the WP and also Excel and PowerPoint .. Office has better programs for spreadsheet and document creation. I must admit that the last Works I am familiar with is the Works 2004 Suite; it came with Word 2002 as the WP.

Use Office, because if you use works, no one else will be able to use the stuff you create since everyone uses Office, and the file formats are not interchangeable.
