System requirements lab, but for hypothetical parts

edited November 2007 in Gaming
Hi, sorry if this isn't in the right place i wasn't really sure where to put it. I'm sure that most of you know about the website system requirements lab. For those who don't its a website that analyzes your computer and tells you if you can play certain games on it or not. What i am looking for is some sort of online tool or software (basically anything) that i can put a list of parts in to and then see how well games will run on it.

So basically i want to build a virtual computer before i go out and buy all the parts for a real one. Is there any way to do this? I tired using VMWare and i cant change certain settings I'd need to. Any help at all is HUGELY appreciated. Thanks in advance for any replies

I thought that might be the case, thanks for letting me know. Heres the list:

    CPU:
    AMD AM2 X2 4400

    Motherboard:
    GA-M61P-S3

    Video Card:
Asus Radeon X1950pro (PCI) Video Card

Hard Drive: Western Digital 500 GB SATAII

    PSU:
    OCZ Stealth Xstream 600W

    RAM:
    Kingston 2GB 5300 Twin DDR2 RAM

I'm just wondering if it could play games such as quake 4 and FEAR and things like that. I doubt i could play something like bioshock but call of duty 2 maybe? Hitman 4? I would like it to be able to play games such as them. Thanks for your time

BioShock and Gears of War play lovely with high settings at 1680x1050 on my 1950Pro.

I'm backing it up with some different hardware, but you'll have no problem running state of the art games on it, nevertheless.
