I tried to connect and it says ..."The server you are trying to connect to is using an older version of the game." wtf??? I just downloaded this today so sorry for the noob response.

@Csimon, not a problem on your end mate I had the same thoughts when I first tried connecting to the server.

The server just hasn't seen an update for the most recent patch don't worry I'm sure we'll get it done (Although it's likely not a top-shelf priority atm)

if the server ever needs to be updated, please ping me, @preacher, @bobbydigi, or @lincoln immediately and we'll get it rebooted right away. It's always a priority, but there's no automated mechanism by which we are notified that the server needs an update. We need you guys to tell us

You have bad timing. The Steam update servers must be having trouble with getting the update to all the servers. The console log keeps saying the same thing:

Fetched 1072510 bytes item schema version BCD1AA1A via HTTP; update is queued.
MasterRequestRestart

Thanks Brian much appreciated. I'll get some practice in before someone else comes in and pwns my a$$ all over the map again. It'll probably happen quite a bit more though.

holy shits! ok so there was an update on tf2 today, made my steam crashed, now the IC server disapeared from my fav and i can't connect to it! it's saint-valentinOcaplypse!
