Monitor problem
I just got a new 22" Samsung 226BW yesterday. Hooked it up, everything worked fine.
Today, I got some screen 'shimmering' with brightness... seemed like a Hz problem, I found out it was set at 59 instead of 60, still was happening. Then, my monitor just shut off. If I press the "Source" button (analog/digital) or re-power it up, it will show the proper display for varying time intervals... for the past half hour, it has been only a few seconds, though sometimes it was a few minutes earlier.
I've tried swapping the video-card slots between my first and second display, no difference. Even when I disconnect, the "Check Signal" thing only sometimes appears (just found this out while typing this message), which leads me to believe it is a hardware problem.
Anything to try, any possible solutions, or is it time to contact Samsung and get a new monitor?
