I am considering a new build using the Intel E6750 w 1333 fsb: http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16819115029
and a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L: http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16813128059
I am debating between these two RAM sets:
Mushkin PC2 6400 w 400 fsb (DDR2 800)
http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16820146118
Kingston PC2 5300 w 333 fsb (DDR2 667)
http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16820134046
Considering the CPU @ 1333 fsb and the mobo, which RAM would you recommend and why? This would be a gamer btw. THX!
FWIW, I used to be a Corsair fan but their quality has slid with DDR2 so other than that I would be open to suggestions.

In response to your later question, I do believe DDR2 800 would offer a significant out of the box performance boost compared to DDR2 667 - it runs faster evidently (from title), and I was under the impression the memory doesn't sync with FSB, it has it's own divider (sync would not matter therefore) :rolleyes2 Sorry if this is of no help, I would just recommend the latter :smiles:
