Hi guys,

I left my laptop on for two days straight(on carpet). Probably not a good idea. It seemed fine when I first used it, watching videos online(not porn). When I started Itunes it made it go really slow and choppy and it is still doing that even after turning it off. The online videos are choppy too. It also takes a really long time to start and shutdown. I don't know if it was from overheating or something else. Thanks for the help guys.

I can't see anything screwy in your log.

Isn't bad, unless of course you never intentionally installed it. It's possible it may be doing some stuff in the backened but it's not malware specifically.

As for your problems they sound more like they are related to quicktime and media codecs. I'd suggest downloading

K Lite Master Codec pack from http://www.codecguide.com/ that should clear up any problems you are having from video code miss matches. Also make sure that your Java and Macromedia software is all up-to-date (well make sure all your software is up-to-date, but those specifically in this case).

Thanks for the help kryyst. Unfortunately that did not work. My comp is still very laggy. Is there anything else I can try?

Hey guys, my computer is way too slow. I am not sure what else I can do, besides reformat. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for the help.
