Much has been said of Google throwing their rad, gargantuan weight against the United States' largest mobile carriers. From intending to announce their intentions of bidding on the C-Block of the UHF band, and the announcement of Android, there's no shortage of speculation.

Today we quickly put three elements together and file them under the "Things that make you go 'Hmmm...' category:"

1. Google is building 10GbE switches.
2. Google is recruiting communications engineers for fiber optic work.
3. Google is currently running a prototype cellular network of its own.

HMMMMMM.
