Sony today opened the doors and cut the ribbon on their new PC version of the Playstation Store. Sony PSP owners can now purchase content and games directly from their web browser for installation on their PSP.
Many PSP owners who didn't also happen to own a Playstation 3 console felt alienated from Store content because previously, it was the only way to purchase games from the store for your PSP. There are a lot of classic PSOne content as well as full PSP games available for the little gaming wonder, but you needed a PS3 to make them available.
PSP owners that I've spoken to didn't even know this content existed before now. This is a good move on Sony's part to bring PSP owners some love.
And some spare change to the Japanese behemoth's coffers.
