Hey guys,
If I overclock my graphics card by more than 10MHz or so then my games crash- any help? Its regular clock speed is 560Mhz.

Does it stop crashing when you stop overclocking?

    So don't overclock it.

Can you post exactly which card you have? Are you trying to OC the core or the memory, or both?

nVidia 7600GT from Point of View
    560MHz Core speed
    700MHz RAM speed

I've been overclocking the Core, but if possible I'll do the RAM too :P

Which manufacturer and model number? Last I checked, nVidia doesn't actually build any of their own video cards.

Not sure about the model number though, hold on

I can't seem to find the model number anywhere- Where will I be able to find it? I have the original box

Heh. Sorry about that. I didn't even recognize Point of View as a manufacturer. I thought that was a copy/paste off a website and that was extraneous text or an image link to it or something.

There might be a sticker on the card that says "P/N:" or something along those lines.

My guess is that you're experiencing a failure of the OC due to heat.

I can't find it anywhere :S I'll be adding another 12cm fan soon which will be blowing directly onto the graphics card. When the PC crashes the screen freezes and I get some lines across the screen, I can still see the image that was last there before it froze but it looks like it's been dragged backwards through a bush
