Looking for good places to get used monitors

edited November 2003 in Hardware
My cousin and her husband are looking for a new monitor to replace one which has recently kicked the bucket. Being interested in a monitor as large as possible, and a flat screen (they're both gamers) I recommended getting a used one from a reliable source (like I have).

I have had good luck with Merkortech (which is where I got my current one) but am wondering what other good used-monitor resellers are out there, as I understand that there are places with better warranties.

This is where I've bought my last 9 monitors.
1x21" Nokia 445XPro- 1999 and using it now
    1X17" Dell-Trinitron
    1X17" Phillips
    4X19" Sceptre LCD's
    1X20" Sceptre TV/Monitor combo
    1X17" Sampo HDTV/Monitor combo

All arrived with no issues whatsoever and the 2 17" monitors were under $100.00 ea, but that was 2 years ago. Now, they have the newer version of the 21"Nokia for $145.

    Just my $.02.

Quit being such a Newegg whore this morning ;) Newegg doesn't sell refurbished monitors.

Back on topic, I'd definetly go with Merkor Tech because of the amazing monitors they sell from their. If I didn't decide to buy a new monitor I would have certainly bought from them.

Grade 'A' fo sho! Unless you want scratches on the screen, possible burn in picture, AND no warrantee.

Seriously, don’t settle for anything other than A.

Specs look a lot like mine. As always, I'd check some reviews before I went for it though.
