OMG I almost got pwned by inferior Nanya memory.

Looks to me like you're comparing a CPU that's clocked 10% faster than your own CPU and expecting your bandwidth to not suffer at all. I'm gonna say the difference in bandwidth is due almost entirely because of the 10% extra CPU speed the other guy has.

Well I guess you are right.
But actually I hadn't thought of that at all.
That is perhaps just me being an ignorant. ;D
Well I will write the guy again and persuade him to lower his speed to 2.0 Ghz.
Then we can compare the results.

I persuaded him to run another set of benchmarks.
Here are the updated results at 200x10
    Same timings 6-2-2-2

    2959 gain 1.7 %
    2725 gain 3.7 %
    PCMark 2002
    5216 gain 7 %

    Average gain 4.7 %

He even calculated the differences in percent.
The mentioned percentages are based on my results.

In the thread he states that dual channel is much publicized bluff.
And he does not want to purchase expensive ram.
I guess he got a little upset learning the truth about nForce2 dual channel. :p

I of course told him that he is very fortunate to have those modules.
I guess you don't see PC2700 RAM at that speed every day?

Yo will get higher sandras if you have a higher multi even on the same fsb. Ask him to run it at 9X200 and see.

I have noticed the difference at 11 multi compared to 10 multi.
I do not think he needs to lower it further.
Hope I get a Thermalright SLK-9xx for christmas.
Then I will up my speed as well.
I am looking forward to see what my little retail 1800+ can do.
