IE7 error

this may be in the wrong place im not sure i was wondering if someone else could try this link and tell me if they manage to connect to it ?

    it doesnt on mine :S

    just says Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

    The only thing I can think of to do is see if you can go to msn.com, and if you can then you just need to clear your DNS cache. And this is FAR from an Emergency Situation.

    That go. site is the first site you hit when you've upgraded to IE7. It asks you a few questions and saves your settings. Until you've actually gone through it's little bit though you can't get rid of it it keeps coming up even if you change your home page.

    Generally if you can't get to it that means that your network connections aren't configured correctly.

    From dos (start>run>'cmd') then do ipconfig /renew
    and ipconfig /flushdns

    Then do ping www.msn.com and it should reply with some IP numbers. If it can't find it or creates some other error then I would guess you aren't properly connected to a DNS server.

    ye unbuntu runs better than i thought just wondering if anyone know where i can get some guides on getting steam to run ?

    Well, if you want to game on linux you need to meet a hardware requirement. Nvidia 7 series or Intel GMA series video system, and the willingness to break your install a few times to get it to work, and even then there's no guarentee.
