Computer runs shutdown command prompt on startup, possible virus?

    I managed to fix the same problem on my machine by reading this thread, thanks a lot guys :)

    The file that causes the problem is: C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Datastore\Logs\edb 0002.bat

    It's just a simple bat file created by the exe file you executed which then executes thousands of shutdown commands on startup. No virus :)

    To delete, just run your system in safe mode, go to C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Datastore\Logs\ and delete the edb0002.bat file.
