Processors?

Are Processors in Notebooks that same as processors in Desktops?

    Some of them yes... for the most part no... Intel and AMD both make Notebook chips and desktop chips.

    Turion X2 for AMD
    Core 2 Duo for Intel - same branding as the desktop but different model numbers

    Some makers out there use desktop chips but those are more custom these days.
