X41 ThinkPad keeps on booting regardless of which option I choose.

My problem is I have an X41 thinkpad without a attached CD.

What do I need to get it to boot and fix the problem?

Is it X41 Recovery CD or Resource Recovery CD?

Do I need to change the BIOS to boot?

Please help.
