FYI - Mac Owners Ram upgrade
I just wanted to say that I just upgraded my 17" intel iMac from 2gigs of ram to 3 gigs of ram. The speed gain is significant. In fact I noticed more of a speed boost when I went from 2gigs to 3gigs then when I jumped from 1gig to 2gigs. The most notable speed boost I see is when running parallels, boots up fast, the guest OS (windows xp off boot camp partition in this case) with 1gig dedicated to it runs at near native speeds and the host OS doesn't even glitch. It's an overall amazing improvement and one I was holding off on because to do it you need a 2gig chip, which until recently were rather hard to come by and ridiculously expensive. But now that you can pick up a 2gig SO DDR2 667mhz chip for less then $60 it's a no brainer.
