Hi all, me again... I know, I know :sad2:

After santa kindly left me The Mighty Boosh season 1+2 for Christmas, I wanted to watch them :P So I fished arund for my old PowerDVD setup... It works on our 700MHz Pentium III dinosaur but not my new machine T_T I put the DVD in, click Play with PowerDVD and baddabing-baddaboom 3 seconds later "This Program is not responding". Pretty much the same story with Media player. Graphics drivers are up to date etc.

Well, do you have a DVD decoder installed? PowerDVD has one but it's not the best. And make sure you grab any updates for your dvd software. If it still doesn't work, may I recommend Media Player Classic from the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack? I've used it for just about two years and I swear by it. It'll even play unhooked AVI's that haven't been compiled. You can get it from codecguide.com

Use media player classic. No codec packages needed.
