 Hai guys, tis me yet again....

I've got a Total War CD I want to make a copy of so my brother can stop pestering me for it. I copied the files onto a new CD but everything's Read Only and the Game Launcher won't open when the disk is inserted... Oh, and the game won't work when I click launch. It says it "cannot find the file specified". Any help?

It's called copy protection. You can't just copy files from one CD to another and expect the game to work.

It won't work without breaking the law.

Really? Myeh. I thought copying a disk that I own would be okay, since I'm not redistributing it etc. Thanks anyway guys.

EU states legally protect against the circumvention of copyright protection on digital media as of May, 2001 when European Directive 2001/29/EC was passed.
