Ever heard of Kreton ram before, anyone?

Like the title says, has anyone had any experience with Kreton DDR before? I ordered a 256 meg stick yesterday ($40 delivered) of PC3200 DDR so that I could put my old A7N8X board back in service, replacing the K7T Turbo2(KT133A) board, so that I could get a little faster folding out of that proc. I ordered it from Newegg, so if the stuff is really sh!t I can RMA it for something else. There were 4 reviews of the ram though and all 4 said it would do 200 fsb just fine though. I don't plan to run it that high myself as the Asus board I have has an early rev northbridge that don't play well at 200 fsb. I also ordered a SLK800-U to replace the original MC462 I am presently using; Thermalright definitely is better than the Swifty's.

Anyways, back on track, anyone try this ram out yet?:) Here's the link to Newegg's Kreton page. Here's a pic of the module from newegg:

I've never used their DDR modules, but their SDR modules worked fine in older 440BX systems I've built.

Good for CAS3 operation, those PC133 SDRAM modules couldn't overclock worth sh!t. :(

    Is that Vitesta chips?

Holy malony, that might ba a deal of the decade if it is the chips i think it is. A-Data uses them on their PC4200 modules. They use Vitesta, i know that but if it is the same...i dont know.

    Killer deal for Intel setups.

You can make out the "VT" on the pic, but not much else though. You got me curious if these might be worth a lot more than they are selling for now, Mackanz. Maybe someone with some photochop skillz can enhance it enough to read the writing on the chips.:)

Searching Google, it says nothing about the "VT" being Vitesta and from what Kreton's site says, it's "value" ram.
