Please help

I have sony vio laptop
I am using two user account. One is working fine but another main user I have keypad problem. when I pressed k it shows 0 and when press u it shows m It is totally messing. Please help me to solve this problem.

    Thank you for your help. Great people always help others . Scr Lk key in my laptop is activated . Now it is solved . But my Laptop is very slow and when i put Cd it is more vunerable .Any way here is the log file

    Hi,

    Your using an old version of HijackThis. Please uninstall this version from Add/Remove programs in Control Panel.

    Then, download HJTInstall.exe to your Desktop.
    • Doubleclick HJTInstall.exe to install it.
    • By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis .
    • Click on Install.
    • It will create a HijackThis icon on the desktop.
    • Once installed, it will launch Hijackthis.
    • Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad.
    • Save the log to a convenient location as you'll need to post it soon.
    • Don't use the Analyse This button, its findings are dangerous if misinterpreted.
    • Don't have Hijackthis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

    I need to see another log from HijackThis.
    • Run Hijackthis.
    • Click on Open the Misc Tools section.
    • Next click on Open uninstall manager.
    • Press the Save list button.
    • Save the file to your desktop, with the default name of uninstall_list
    • Copy & Paste the entire contents of that file in your in your next post.

    Please post the Uninstall list, along with the HijackThis log.

    Hi,

    There isn't any malware in the HijackThis log.

    Your Java is out of date. Older versions have vulnerabilities that malware can use to infect your system. Please follow these steps to remove older version Java components and update to the latest version...

    Updating Java:
    • Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 update3.
    • Scroll down to where it says "The J2SE Runtime Environment (JRE) allows end-users to run Java applications."
    • Click the "Download" button to the right.
    • Check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement."
    • The page will refresh.
    • Click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation with or without Multi-language and save to your desktop.
    • Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
    • Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove the following...
      • Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2_01
    • Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
    • Then from your desktop double-click on jre-6u3-windows-i586-p.exe to install the newest version.

    You still have Service Pack 1 (SP1) which is no longer receiving updates from Microsoft. You should update to Service Pack 2 (SP2) via Windows Update now.

    Once that is done, please post a new HijackThis log.

    Dear Bro,
    I am in truble now. I takes long time to update windows. When It is not complete I put window xp cd SP2 While upgrading it stops in a half way I tried two three times It takes long time. When I turn on my laptop it says upgrading usind cd but same take about 5 to 6 hrs but not completing. I change the boot sys but same thing. It not either formating.Please help:confused:

    how old is the laptop and has it ever worked properly?
    Concerning the kaypad problems, where there any random \'s or b's when you typed or any computer fans going crazy? if they are, then its a cpu issue, most likely..if you were to replace your cpu, it should fix all of your problems...but dont just take my word for it, try getting a second opinion.
