Nintendo DS won't connect to wireless network

edited January 2008 in Gaming
I need help trying to figure out why the Nintendo DS won't connect to the router "I just set up". It's not actually mine, it's my brother's DS, and the whole point of setting up a wireless router was mainly for his DS, because he's tired of going to McDonald's for free WiFi. Now when he tries to connect it won't. Setting everything up manually... won't work either. The DS detects the access point but as you can guess... it won't connect.

Check to make sure the router is not using WPA or WPA2 encryption. The DS (very stupidly) only supports plain old WEP. Lame.

What brand and model router? Have you set up any kind of security or encryption?

Edit: Prime is so fast! :D

The brand is Microsoft Wireless Base Station MN-700 and I haven't set up any type of encryption.
