Power over eSATA

<p>Those SATA connections inside your computer are pretty rad, you know. An ultra-fast serialized bus that doesn't care if it commands an army of jumpers, it is a totally swank army of one that crushes the traditional notions of drive ordering. Then some bright chaps decided to put it on the back of the PC.</p>
<p>Now they're canning the power cable to make it more like Firewire in that it can power a drive without a wall plug. C|Net brings us the feed <a href="http://crave.cnet.com/8301-1_105-9850343-1.html?part=rss&amp;subj=news&amp;tag=2547-1_3-0-20">over hnyah</a>.</p>
