Got my quarterly Action Pack update last week. Just now got around to installing Office 2003. It looks sweet... I haven't really used it that much yet..?..
Stand-Alone functionality wise, it's the same as Office 97 with a little bit of updated eye candy.
When you introduce it with Microsoft's Office Server application (I can't remember the name), it becomes a power collaborative tool that actually works.
So far, Office 2003 Professional edition is very stable. I haven't had an Office application hang/crash on me yet.
I have the pro version (part of the software i get from school), and it seems that the biggest change is to outlook, and not that much to the other programs. However, I have not had much time to much around with it.
I think the voice recognition software is a little better too. Of course it still makes a lot of mistakes, but hey, its included in office xp/2k3 and it's better than typing all those huge papers.

I agree. Just installed the Pro version and the update of Outlook is very welcomed.
