video requirements

Hey, does anyone know why I cannot run a PC game with maximum graphic detail and screen res when my computer is far above the recommendations for the game? With a faster processor, more memory and larger video card I should be able to run the game at maximum detail, right?

    sometimes it depends on the game and it's own compatibilities. Some games even work ideally with certain brands of video card.

    Without knowing more details we can't help anymore than that.

    The recommended hardware for a game is never the hardware that will permit maximum settings.
